If you're anything like us, then you've probably been racking your brain for ways to keep busy (or stay sane) during this quarantine! Our team has tried their hand at just about everything you can think of. From cooking classes (if you haven't made a homemade pizza yet, you're missing out), to finally getting around to that reading list, to learning to draw and paint! We've tried it all, and had a ton of fun while doing it!

We had so much fun crafting and keeping busy, that we came up with a way for all of you to share in on the fun as well! Below you'll find instructions on how to Bleach-Dye (Like tie-dyeing but with bleach) your old company t-shirts using only items found around the house!

Now, we know you've most likely got some extra bleach and rubber gloves lying around the house, and if you've ever worked with NorthPoint, then you probably also have a spare NorthPoint t-shirt as well

    Beach-Dye Checklist:
    Bleach
    Rubber Gloves
Darker Colored NorthPoint Shirt (or any darker colored company shirt)
    Rubber Bands
    Bucket/Container
    Plastic Squirt Bottle (Optional)

    STEP 1
Submerge your shirt in water. We've found that wetting the shirt first helps it take the bleach better.

    STEP 2
Ring out your shirt and rubber band it together. When putting on the rubber bands, try twisting the shirt and rolling it up in different ways to get a unique pattern!

    STEP 3
    (WHILE WEARING GLOVES)
Very carefully (while outside, in a well ventilated area) spray or pour bleach over your shirt. This can be done over a second bucket/container as to not get bleach everywhere.

    STEP 4
Let the shirt sit with the bleach on it for about 10 to 30 minutes. You should start to see results fairly quickly depending on the shirt.

    STEP 5
    (WHILE WEARING GLOVES)
Very carefully rinse the shirt in a bucket of water, while removing the rubber bands and rinsing off the remaining bleach. Once finished, let your shirt dry completely before tossing it into the washer by itself (or with any other bleach-dyed items) for a wash or two in order to remove any existing bleach and smell.

    STEP 6
Once washed and dried, wear your personalized, one of a kind company shirt on your next company video call to make your coworkers jealous!

(Don't have a darker colored shirt for dyeing? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Just send us an email at sales@northpointprinting.com and we'll send you a promo code to redeem a NorthPoint shirt that you can Bleach-Dye for free!!)
